What exactly Story?
* a narrative, either true or fictitious, in prose or verse, designed to interest, amuse, or instruct the hearer or reader; a story. * a fictitious tale, shorter and less elaborate than a novel. 2. a narration of an incident or a series of events or an example of these that is or may be narrated, as a great anecdote, joke, etc. 5. Therefore , narrative or story in its broadest sense can be anything told or recounted; more directly, and more generally, something advised or recounted in the form of a causally-linked group of events; an account; the sharing with of a taking place or linked series of occurrences, whether authentic or make believe. * The adjustments of a short story may be the time and place in which it occurs. Authors often use information of scenery, scenery, buildings, seasons or weather to realise a strong feeling of placing. There are several areas of a story's setting to consider when examining how setting plays a part in a story (some, or almost all, may be within a story): * a) place - geographical location. Where is the action of the account taking place? * b) period - When exactly is the story happening? (historical period, time of day, 12 months, etc) 2. c) weather conditions - Could it be rainy, sunlit, stormy, and so forth? * d) social circumstances - What is the day to day life of the heroes like? Does the story have local coloring (writing that focuses on the speech, costume, mannerisms, persuits, etc . of the particular place)? * e) mood or atmosphere - What feeling is created at the outset of the story?
